elvis rohan hammit

From the start - "That's All Right Mama" to the Vegas style shows of the 70's, ROHAN HAMMIT emulates the Legend in his own style from the hip swivelling 50's and 60's to the karate kicks of the 70's. Backed by a group of superb musicians and wearing the famous elaborate jumpsuits of the Vegas years, Rohan gives an awesome high-energy performance every time!

Rohan is also available solo with backing tracks & as a duo or 4 piece line up when required.

More of an icon than an artist, Marty consistently wows audience year after a year. A favourite at Melbourne's crown casino, Marty plays anything & everything effortlessly. The original piano man!

Over the past 28 years Marty has consistently delivered what audiences throughout Australia want to hear - good songs played by one of Austrlia's top musicians.

He has played for the Who's Who of Australia (private parties for Kerry Packer, Lloyd Williams, Alan Bond, Billy Joel, Elton John and even the late Pope John Paul 2).  Marty's charm and talent wins over any crowd and he continues to be in great demand around Australia.

After several amateur productions which included three years with "The Melbourne Gang Show". Steve pursued a career in rock bands, first as lead singer in "Release" then "Tokyo" and then as keyboardist/vocalist in 'U.J.A.K.' and "King Hit" with Maria Mercedes.

In 1983 Steve entered the piano bar circuit and worked extensively throughout Australia over the next 12 years. This included many contracts on Hamilton Island, Cairns, Port Douglas, Mt Buller etc. In 1986 Steve appeared in "Star Search", winning 5 episodes as male vocalist and reaching the semi-finals. In the 1990s Steve entered the field of TV and film working mainly as an extra, but also small parts for current affair shows and training videos. 1995 brought a change of direction for Steve, returning to his first love, 'live theatre'.

Anyone who has seen Tommy Rando perform already knows what the rest of the world is about to discover. Tommy's songs are strong and individual; however, the first thing that captures your attention is the unique tone of his voice which has a warm and husky texture. Even his soulful whisper conveys power, conviction and grace - all the cuts and bruises of a life fully lived. When he lets rip, we see his emotion creep in like an approaching storm.

Rando, an Australian singer-songwriter, was helped along by a scholarship grant to the National Guitar Summer Workshop held in Connecticut, New York. It was there that Tommy was guided to seek out the ingredients that shaped his artistic style. Following his time in New York, Tommy toured the US for BMI hooking up with industry greats such as Jeff Cohen, Seymore Stein and ex-manager to Elton John, John Reid. Back at home, Tommy has played with Australia's best including: "Taxiride", "Boomcrash Opera" and "Invertigo". He has written songs for Vanessa Amorosi, Lee Harding, Alan Fletcher and Kirsty Crawford to name just a few. With a growing catalogue, Tommy has his tunes playing regularly on the television show "Neighbours" as well as co-writing the number one ARIA hit "Wasabi" for Australian Idol's Lee Harding.
